Andrew Doan featured at the COS Prayer Breakfast.

On Monday, November 18th, 2013 those who attended the COS breakfast in New Orleans were privileged to hear the testimony of Dr. Andrew Doan.  Along with many old COS members, we welcomed many new residents and fellows, several mission agencies and representatives of the Ophthalmic Industry Fellowship, a group of Christian industry executives.  The event was enriched by the beautfiul sounds of local jazz saxophonist, Clarence Johnson.  Clarence also shared a rousing vocal version of "How great thou art".

The highlight of the meeting centered around the personal testimony of Dr. Doan.  Dr. Doan shared the profound way in which his life was saved from a severe addiction to media and gaming.  He challenged the audience to consider the ways in which the gaming industry is affecting our children, youth, young adults and violence in our culture.  His unique blend of expertise of neurosciences, ophthalmic surgery and athletics along with a motivational speaking style provided great food for thought for most all in attendance.  Please listen to his testimony which is now linked.
