brickThe Christian Ophthalmology Society is proud to partner with Vision Outreach International and Global Sight Alliance in bringing a special sequel live surgery course from September 8th - 10th, 2017 entitled "Hand Me A Brick: Building Your MSICS Skill Set".  This limited seating course features tracks for beginning MSICS surgeons, advanced MSICS surgeons and technicians.  The course will feature MSICS surgery with live interaction with the audience.  In addition, there will be special tracks for both beginning surgeons and more advanced surgeons wishing to learn to train others in MSICS.

The course is approved for 12.25 hours of Category I CME.

The full day Saturday course will begin with a special Friday evening reception and conclude with a short Sunday morning postop session.  Live streaming of the course will be available as well.

canThe course will be held at the Cornerstone Assistance Network in Fort Worth, Texas and features special appearances by Dr. John Cropsey for Burundi and Diego Mejia from Honduras.

The course will be followup up by a special option to participate in a Hands-On MSICS training session with selected MSICS trainers around the world from October 2017 - August 2018 which will be made available to attendees first.



This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology and Vision Outreach International. The Georgia Society of Ophthalmology is accredited by the Medical Association of Georgia to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  The Georgia Society of Ophthalmology designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
