  1. Profession of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord
  2. Being an ophthalmologist or ophthalmologist-in-training
  3. A desire to support the goals of the society

COS Membership benefits include:

  • Joining a community of like minded ophthalmologists seeking to follow Christ in their professions and personal lives.
  • Access to online COS member directory and online CME.
  • Continuing education on topics of importance to your practice.
  • Helpful print and electronic resources to integrate faith and practice.
  • Support of missionaries and residents and medical students through the COS grant program.
  • Opportunities to develop connections with fellow members in local area Regional Refresh events.
  • Access to mission placement services, marriage retreats and immediate telephone support for practice and life issues.
  • Opportunities to fellowship and network with colleagues at COS specific events at AAO, ASCRS, ASRS, AAPOS, ARVO and the COS annual meeting.

To better accomplish many of these ministries, in 2018, regular associate dues for the COS are established at $250/year and sustaining membership dues are established at $100/month.  The society still offers free membership to residents and fellows and missionary members.  Additional donations are needed as well.  Signup below or renew your membership after logging in.
