Douglas and Laura Singer are excited to be the overseers of the Christian Ophthalmology Society Children's Program for 2010!  The oldest of five siblings, Douglas has experience with children's programs dating back to high school, when he helped with his local church VBS.  Since then, he has been appointed a Team Captain at SonLife Bible Camp in Manitoba, Canada and has taught kids and given childcare on three short-term missions trips to Canada's interior.  Currently, Douglas is employed at Taylor University as a faculty piano instructor and music accompanist.

Laura has enjoyed working with children as a Mother's Helper and through church programs, such as AWANA and VBS.  Last year, she enjoyed working in the nursery of the COS Childcare.  Laura is a stay-at-home mother to Edmund, born to Douglas and Laura last year on Thanksgiving Day.
